PTO will have a booth set up during the Fall Festival for anyone who is interested in joining or just getting more information.  Be sure to stop by!!

PTO Meeting September 8, 2022

Welcome and introductions by Mr. Jennings. Mrs. Megan Harris is current President. Nomination to keep Megan Harris as president. All in favor voted yes. No opposed. Mrs. Shari Wilford has served as secretary/treasurer. She was nominated to continue. All in favor voted yes. No opposed.

Treasurer report stated we had $11,022 at the end of last year. $600 was spent on Amazon gift cards for teachers. $900 has been spent on Christmas presents for teachers and staff. The account was left with $9522.

In previous years PTO has helped paint the gym, bought 50 shirts for students who did not purchase one for field day, meals for staff, help with student rewards, assistance with the Fall Festival, assistance with STEM night, and assistance with the Walk-A-Thon.

Proposed projects for this year: Walk-A-Thon fundraiser November 3, 2022, assistance with Fall Festival October 27, 2022 from 4:30-6:30, assistance with Kickin' It For Kids event on October 20, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 at the park, and meals for staff.

Look into selling Smencils. How much did it bring in? PTO newsletters will be sent out again. A new remind group will be created. dates will be given out to volunteers for help with projects and events. First meal for teachers will be around Thanksgiving.
