New CDC guidance about quarantining when exposed to COVID19.
If you do not have any symptoms, it is recommended to wear a mask for 10 days and test on day 5. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO QUARANTINE IF EXPOSED AND NO SYMPTOMS! Regardless of vaccination status.
People who test positive still need to isolate for 5 full days and wear a mask through day 10.
When someone is exposed to a positive case of COVID:
If this is in the household. The positive case needs to be isolated from others.
If you do not have any symptoms, wear a mask through day 10, test on day 5, and come to school.
If you develop any symptoms, you are a probable case. Stay home and follow the procedures for reporting a positive case.
