Early Childhood Education

Our Vision

The Meigs County Schools Early Childhood program envisions a united community of families, educators, and staff creating a nurturing and structured space where children joyfully discover, grow, and develop a lifelong love of learning through playful and purposeful experiences.

Welcome to Meigs County Schools Preschool! We believe every child deserves a great start. Our programs help children learn, grow, and get ready for Kindergarten in a safe and friendly environment.

In Meigs County, we offer two main paths for our little learners:

  • Voluntary Pre-K (VPK): For 4-year-olds to get ready for school.

  • Blended Preschool: A special classroom where children with and without disabilities learn together.
