Awards Day! May 20, 2024 will be awards day at Meigs North. Teachers will present awards for grades 1-4. Please make sure to look at the times for each grade level. Please note a change has been made to our 1st grade awards time.
Congratulations to our A/R 100ś Club. Each student made over 100 A/R points for the year! They each received $10 cash.

These students have shown that they can work hard, play fair, and be kind to everyone.
Meigs North students had a wonderful field day on Monday. The weather cooperated long enough to get all events finished.
Tomorrow, Thursday, May 16, is our Kindergarten and 5th Grade Awards Programs at Meigs North. These events will take place in the MNE gym. Parents and family members are invited to attend. Kindergarten is at 9:00 am, and 5th grade is at 12:00. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the events. Thanks. JJ
Just like that, as our 5th grade is getting ready to graduate and head off to middle school, they became published authors along the way! Each 5th grade homeroom got to choose a social/ emotional topic that we discussed in Mrs. Rachael's Guidance class and write about their personal experience with their given topic. We are so proud of our 5th grade! Congrats on becoming published authors!
Dollywood tickets for MNE 5th grade students have finally arrived. They can be picked up today at MNE until 4:30 or in the morning starting at 7:30. Thanks. JJ
Meigs North will host Kindergarten Graduation on May 16, 2024 at 9:00. Doors will open for parents at 8:30.
Meigs North Fifth Grade students will have a promotion ceremony on May 16, 2024 at 12:00. Doors will open at 11:30.

MNE A/R reward permission slips went home today with students in grades 1-5 who qualified for the 4th 9 weeks and/or the whole year. Forms are due back signed by Monday. Thanks. JJ

Early Dismissal
Meigs North is dismissing early today due to inclement weather moving through our area. Car riders will begin at 1:30. Regular buses will load at 2:00. Please be advised that the Boys and Girls Club is closed.

Happy National Nurse Day to our favorite nurse, Karen DeLude. She takes care of everyone at Meigs North on a daily basis. We hope she realizes how lucky we are to have her.
