MEIGS COUNTY PARENTS: Find A Summer Food Service Program Site Summer Food Service Program sites are open and available when school is out for the summer. Once school is out, the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) begins. The SFSP is a partnership between the USDA Food and Nutrition Service, the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) and community-based organizations to provide free meals to children in their communities throughout the summer. Parents can find meal sites near them by: Going to the USDA Summer Meal Finder Website **If your search doesn’t show any results on the map, it’s possible that summer sites have not opened for the season. The site finder is updated every Friday, so check back frequently for the latest information. https://5il.co/3ewut

Mrs. Penrod’s class took a field trip to the park for the annual AmVets cookout. The students ate hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings, chips and a drink. After lunch, the kids played tag in the field and had a dessert. We would like to thank the AmVets for everything they do for our students!
