Meigs County schools will be having Pre-K and Kindergarten registration on Friday, April 24, 2026. Parents with a child entering Pre-K will need to register at Meigs Middle School and parents with a child entering Kindergarten will need to register at either Meigs North or Meigs South.
Did you know? Students who attend Pre-K in Meigs County are twice as likely to be ready for Kindergarten! 📈 We want to give every child that same advantage. Meigs North will host its annual Senior Walk on April 23th at 1:00. Our former students will come back to reconnect with teachers and staff and to positively impact our current students. We are always excited to see how our former students have grown and what their future plans may be.

Meigs North Elementary's word of the month for April is confidence. Confidence is believing in your abilities, the willingness to take risks and try hard things, and growing through effort. Students need to learn that they can learn from their mistakes. Confidence is knowing that they are doing the best they can do.
