Meigs North Elementary will have a meet and greet with teachers in grades 1-5 on August 4th from 3:00-5:00. Stop by and meet your teacher and bring your school supplies. Kindergarten Roundup will begin at 6:00. All upcoming Kindergarten students will meet their teacher from 6:00-7:00.
Give A Kid A Chance was a huge success! 🎊 Our Meigs North staff had the best time connecting with our students and families in the air-conditioned comfort of the gym. Greetings from Meigs North Elementary. This is a reminder that student rosters for the 26-27 school year are not finalized yet. For those of you checking in with ParentVue, please note that student homerooms are subject to change as we work toward completing rosters and balancing class sizes. We plan to have rosters complete by our Teacher Meet and Greet and Kingergarten Roundup events on Tuesday, August 4. Also, please note that unfortunately, we do not accept parent requests for students to be placed with specific teachers. Summer School will begin on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Students should arrive before 8:00 if they are eating breakfast. Bus and car rider dismissal will be at 1:30. We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday.
Friday, May 22nd is our last day of the school year. Buses will begin loading students at 9:30. Students who are car riders can come in, pick up their grade cards, and leave. We hope that everyone has a safe Memorial Day Weekend.

This school year, Mrs. Rachael started a grief and loss program for students who have experienced the loss of a family member. As part of this program, care packages are created to help students feel seen, supported, and loved during such a difficult time. One special item included in each package is the book The Invisible String by Patrice Karst.
Beth Harris and her Amazon team generously put together over 50 care bags for this program, and their kindness will make such a meaningful impact on so many students and families in our community.
