Each month we ask our bus drivers to nominate students who follow the bus rules. These students sit down, talk quietly, and help other students when needed. Congratulations to our Bus Riders of the Month.

August Bus Riders of the Month
The Word of the Month for August was Kindness. Students showed kindness by cleaning up after themselves, being a friend, helping others, and saying nice things. Students were nominated by staff to get a kindness shoutout. Some of our teachers were nominated by our students. These are some of our students that were nominated for showing kindness. Keep up the good work. Remember you can show kindness all year round.

Ms. Iza’s second grade class has been having a great time kicking off the school year with fun, interactive activities! 📚✨

Students reviewed classroom rules and expectations through an exciting game of Jeopardy, putting their knowledge to the test while learning how to make their classroom a positive place to learn. 🏆

They also got to know their teacher better through a fun game of Four Corners, giving everyone a chance to share, move, and learn more about one another! 💛

What a fun way to build classroom community while learning along the way! We’re excited to see all the wonderful things Ms. Iza’s second graders accomplish this year! 🍎📖

Ms. Leslie’s fourth graders are hard at work taking their narrative writing to the next level using WeWillWrite.com! Today, students dived deep into their writing prompts, using the platform to practice adding rich sensory details, strong action verbs, and vivid word choice. Watching them transform basic ideas into exciting, descriptive masterpieces has been amazing.
