TCAP testing will begin on April 16th for grades 3-5. Please make sure your child is at school and on time during testing. Testing takes place during the morning hours and it is very important that every student be present.

Ms. Amanda and Ms. Chastity are doing a wonderful job preparing our PreK students for Kindergarten next year. They took their students to the library today, providing them with valuable learning opportunities that will help them succeed in the future.

The final MNE after school Bible this year is Tues., April 9. Parents are invited to come and participate with their children. Bible starts at 3:30. Meigs North first graders had a fun-filled "Peep Day" to kick off our long weekend. Students rotated from classroom to classroom and participated in four "peep themed" activities; Peep tasting, Peep water colors, Peep sink or float, and Peep house building.
Attention Meigs County 4th - 7th grade girls:
After reading "An Earthworm's Life," Ms. Chastity and Ms. Amanda's class teamed up to build worm habitats. They searched the room for materials to enrich their projects, utilizing a blend of flour and cinnamon, salt and paint, and kinetic sand for the soil. What an fun and engaging activity!
#Purple Up! For Military Kids is a way to show support for our military kids at home and abroad. We want to thank our military children and their families for the sacrifices they make.
The second-grade after-school tutoring group made the most of the beautiful spring weather by practicing their spelling words on the sidewalk.
