Jaykob Stephens, a former student of Meigs, is a remarkable inspiration. After graduating in 2019, he attended ETSU, where he achieved the incredible feat of being recognized as the Most Outstanding Microbiology Student. Currently, he is a full-time employee at Reynolds Farms and also volunteers as a firefighter. His achievements continue to inspire us all. #MeigsAlumni

Emily Henry, a proud native of Meigs County, is currently pursuing a degree in social work. She was recently recognized by Cleveland State Community College for her outstanding achievements during Social Work Month. Emily's passion for helping others is admirable and she plans to continue her education at Tennessee Wesleyan University to pursue a bachelor's degree in social work. Her goal is to work with non-profit organizations or the local school system to make a positive impact on people's lives. Emily, your achievements make us immensely proud. One of our own, Mattie Smith, a Meigs County High School graduate, is doing inspiring work as a 4-H representative for Agriculture Week in D.C. She is among the three college representatives selected for this prestigious opportunity. We are proud of her commitment to the betterment of family farms all across the United States.


The Meigs High Cheer Team will be hosting McSpirit Night at the Decatur McDonald's, TOMORROW NIGHT from 5:00-7:00. A portion of all purchases will be donated to Meigs High Cheer. (Donation/Tips are Appreciated)

Please take note of the following information regarding the 2024 Meigs High Cheer Tryouts:
- A mandatory Parent Meeting will be held in the Meigs High Cafeteria on March 28th at 6:00 pm. Parents are required to attend and submit the necessary paperwork before anyone can participate in the tryouts.
- Tryout Clinic will be held on April 1st to 3rd from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
- The Tryouts will be held on April 4th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
