In early December, Meigs Middle 8th grade was the recipient of a $500 VEC Customer's Share Grant. This money will be used to partially fund a trip 8th grade will take in the spring to CSCC and Lee University. This trip comes after 8th graders have completed their schedules for high school. We believe if we offer this experience at an early age, it will encourage students to set high goals for high school, and college can become a reality. Thank you VEC!
