Spring Dance

"Shout out" to our middle school girls volleyball teams! Our JV and Varsity girls had so much improvement over our short season. The coaches are very proud of each of our players. Varsity fought hard and went 6-3 during the regular season! If you are interested, support the girls and our sports teams with some swag. Sweatshirts don't have a year on them so wear them for multiple seasons and even if they move into the high school program. Sweatpants are not volleyball specific and only have our school mascot so they are great for those chilly baseball and football games too!
Fundraiser will run from now until March 21st.

Choir Concert

Last night's Meigs County Band concert, which showcased the remarkable talents of both the high school and middle school bands, was a huge success. The event drew a full house, highlighting the community's support for our young musicians. Director Logan Henson's dedication and tireless efforts in preparing the students despite recent weather-related disruptions were evident in their excellent performance. The added performances of the Jazz Band was the icing on the cake! Great job, Meigs County Band program!

We appreciate Officer Andrew Howard and all he does for our school and our county!

Mrs. A's 8th grade science students have been exploring Earth’s structure with a variety of hands on activities and labs. They’ve used graham crackers to demonstrate plate tectonic movement, used playdough to see weathering affecting the rock layers in our crust and landforms, grouped manipulatives to decipher types of rocks, drawn out concept maps for the rock cycle, and even observed rocks as they move through the rock cycle by using starbursts.

Yearbooks are on sale at Meigs Middle now through March 20th. The cost is $35. Pay cash or make check payable to Meigs Middle School. Or, order online at ybpay.com and use code 13566525
