We are excited to announce that for the 2023-2024 school year, Meigs County Schools will use an online registration method requiring a ParentVue Account. Activation letters will be sent home with grade cards tomorrow. Only those that are new to ParentVue will receive this activation letter. Once an account is set up, you can review and edit student information. Existing ParentVue users can begin updating information once logged in to ParentVue. We would like to congratulate our AR winners for the 2022-2023 school year. 10th place- Aimee A. 100.3 points, 9th place- Kayley P. 105.4 points, 8th place- Brady A. 107.8 points, 7th place- Saleen B. and Paisley M. 108.6 points, 6th place- Atticus P. 117.4 points, 5th place- Carson J. 143.4 points, 4th place- Ryker H. 147.5 points, 3rd place- Shayla F. 199.6 points, 2nd place- Luke C. 260 points, and 1st place- Xavier L. 431.9 points.

May is Better Speech and Hearing Month. Ms. Carla and Ms. Carolyn celebrated by asking students and staff to draw a picture of them. The response was amazing. The winners were announced on Monday. Due to pending weather conditions, MNE Kindergarten and 5th grade promotions events will now take place in the Meigs North gym on Tuesday night, May 16. Kindergarten will be at 5:30, and 5th grade will be at 7:00. Families are invited to attend. Thanks. J. Jennings

Our Annual Staff against 5th Grade Kick Ball game will be on May 15, 2023 at 1:30. Students in all grades will be allowed to attend.
Graduation for Kindergarten and 5th grade will be on May 16, 2023 at the Decatur Park. Kindergarten will begin at 5:30. Gates will open at 5:00. 5th grade graduation will begin at 7:00. Please bring a lawn chair because seating will be limited.
We are so proud of ALL the math bowl participants in Ms. Leslie’s and Ms. Ashley’s 4th grade home rooms. Questions were randomized and varied with degree of difficulty. The top finalists were 1st Mia M., 2nd Atticus P., and 3rd Saleen B.
The A R end of the year reward will be on May 12. Students who qualify will need to wear or bring socks. The inflatables will be on school grounds for qualifying students to enjoy.
Third grade students had a wonderful trip to Mayfield Dairy to learn about milk and ice cream production. After seeing the factory, they got to sample the sweet treats.
We had a wonderful time with our seniors during our 2023 Senior Walk on May 3. We are proud of the young men and women that began here at Meigs North and are going on to college and careers. Our 5th grade students really enjoyed playing kickball against a group of senior boys. It made a special memory that they will not forget.

Field Day will be held on May 10, 2023. Students need to wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothing. Water bottles and sunscreen are recommended. Kona Ice will be on site. Come cheer on our kids.
