We want to encourage everyone to come out to our annual Kickin It With Kids event on October 16, 2025. This event will take place at the Meigs County Fair Grounds from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Local organizations will be on site to offer information and Meigs County schools will be giving away coats, hoodies, school supplies, hygiene products, toboggans, and gloves. Food Trucks will be available for families to purchase dinner. Come spend your evening with us.

Fourth grade students at Meigs North enjoyed a day of learning about health and wellness.

MNE will NOT have after school tutoring on Thursday, October 16. We will be helping set up for the Kickin It With Kids event at Decatur Park, which starts at 5:30. Thanks. JJ

MNE will host it's annual Fall Festival on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Activities will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Students can play games, go through the haunted house, and take a hay ride. Concessions will be available. Student entrance price is $5.00. We hope to see you there.

MNE finished up our month of learning about respect. We want to thank all our students and staff who showed respect by saying please and thank you, waiting their turn, not interrupting, and following directions.

Remember that our Fall Break will be October 6-10, 2025. We hope that everyone has a safe and restful week.

Teachers show courage everyday by coming to school to pour into your students while leaving your little ones at home. We see you and you are doing an amazing job!

Free flu shots on October 23, 2025.

Our annual Kickin It With Kids event will take place on Thursday, October 16th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Come join us at the Meigs County Fair Grounds to get information and free items. Food trucks will be on the premise if you would like to purchase dinner.

If your child stays for after school tutoring at MNE on Mondays and Thursdays, pickup is at 4:00. Please be on time. Thanks. JJ

Our Word of the Month for October is Courage. Courage is being brave enough to do what's right, even when it's hard or scary. It's about standing up for yourself and others, trying new things, admitting mistakes, and making choices that align with your values.
What does courage look like?
speaking up when someone is treated unfairly
trying something new even if you're nervous
admitting mistakes and taking responsibility
doing the right thing, even when no one is watching

We would like to congratulate our students who received Bus Rider of the Month for September. These students show respect by obeying the bus rules of sitting in their seat, being quiet, and not causing disturbances during the ride to and from school.
