Today was an exciting day filled with character education from The NED Show at MSE. NED is a loveable cartoon character whose name is an acronym for Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. Teachers love that NED is simple, relatable and kid-focused.

Attention Meigs County 4th - 7th grade girls:

Meigs County Schools will dismiss at 1:00 PM on April 2, 2024, due to expected inclement weather..

Mrs. Wendi Powell's class just finished a really cool mixtures lab activity. They all made their own lab coats and got to wear them during the activity. They were super excited to feel like real scientists while doing the lab.

Reading goes beyond the pages of a book. Reading at an early age opens the doors to
imagination and provides a foundation for a love of learning that students will carry with them throughout their education and life. #StartingwithSounds helps children develop strong phonics skills with fun ways to learn how to read. #TNReadingforAll
