Free school supplies, clothing, food, and more will be given at the pavilion in Decatur Park on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 8:00 to 11:00 AM or until all items have been given. There was no pre-registration so it will be a first come first served for students of Meigs County Schools grades PK to 12. Everything is free. Starting tomorrow, TDOT is closing West Memorial Drive/Old Hwy 30 past La Hacienda which will effect traffic patterns going to Meigs High. To enter the high school’s South Entrance one will need to re-route and come in from New Hwy 30. This summer one can also access Meigs County High School through its East Entrance coming off Abel Ave. or its North Entrance coming off of School Drive from River Road or Arrants Rd..

Meigs County Youth League Football and Cheer last day for Early sign ups will be Thursday May 30th from 5:30-6:30 at the New Restoration Clinic building on the Corner of Hwy 58 and Hey 30. This will be the last sign up for any cheerleader wanting to participate.
