Due to the extremely low & dangerous temperatures forecasted for Tuesday, January 21, Meigs County Schools will be closed. As always, the safety of our students and staff is our number one priority. Low temperatures combined with the wind chill pose significant challenges for students waiting outside on buses.
Despite great efforts throughout the day today, a large numbers of secondary roads still remain a safety concern for busses and student drivers. Meigs County Schools will remain closed on Friday, January 17. Meigs County Schools will also be closed Monday, January 20 in observance of the National Holiday.
