Free school supplies, clothing, food, and more will be given at the pavilion in Decatur Park on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 8:00 to 11:00 AM or until all items have been given. There was no pre-registration so it will be a first come first served for students of Meigs County Schools grades PK to 12. Everything is free. The Meigs County School System is pleased to extend a warm welcome to the new teachers who have completed the New Teacher Orientation. The team-building activities with their mentors were a valuable aspect of this process. We cannot wait to see what each new teacher will bring to the classroom.
