Students in Mrs. Jenifer's first grade learned about the Olymic Flame & then made "fire in a bottle." The students were excited to see how the colors swirled & mixed together to look like a flame. 🔥

During the second week of summer school, 3rd and 4th graders have been learning to measure length in inches. They are also practicing rounding to the nearest inch. After that, they used the information to create their own line plots.

The Meigs North summer school is off to a great start! We will finish up our first week (Day 4) of summer school tomorrow, May 31st, and will begin our 2nd week next Monday, June 3rd (Day 5). Because our schedule is not the same each week, we hope this calendar will help you keep the days straight. We hope it will help us, too!

Attention 3rd Grade Parents! The 3rd grade TCAP Retake Test will be administered at MNE on Wednesday, May 22. Students scoring Below or Approaching on the TCAP test will have the opportunity to take the retake test in an attempt to raise their scores, which could potentially help put them on a pathway to promotion. We expect to get 3rd grade TCAP scores back sometime on May 20. Parents will be notified on May 20 or 21 if their child needs to take the retake test.
