Meigs North Elementary

Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6 is our field day. Activities begin at 9:00 and end at 2:00. Please make sure to wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothing. Concessions will be sold in addition to Kona Ice.

Kindergarten students at Meigs North will be participating in a promotion ceremony on May 13, 2025 at 9:00 a.m.

Fourth Grade Students had loads of fun on their field trip to Main Event. They had the day to play games, eat lunch, and enjoy time with their friends.

We would like to congratulate our May Students of the Month. These students are selected by their teachers for making achievements in the classroom and for following the Meigs North Creed of working hard, playing fair, and being kind and courteous to everyone. MEIGS COUNTY PARENTS: Find A Summer Food Service Program Site Summer Food Service Program sites are open and available when school is out for the summer. Once school is out, the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) begins. The SFSP is a partnership between the USDA Food and Nutrition Service, the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) and community-based organizations to provide free meals to children in their communities throughout the summer. Meigs North will hold a PTO meeting on Wednesday, April 30 @3:30. Topics of discussion will include an end of the year cook out, flower beds in the front of the school, and teacher appreciation gifts.

Wednesday, April 23, 2025 is our last day of testing. Grades 3-5 will be taking the Science portion of their T-Cap test. Let's show what we know and end our testing on a positive note.

Students in grades 3-5 will be taking the math portion of the TCap test s on Monday April 21 and Tuesday April 22, 2025. Come ready to solve those math problems.
