Ms. Yancey and Ms. Leslie’s 4th grade ELA class just finished our unit on observing nature. As an end if unit activity, students made bird feeders. We also had Mr. Chris Combs from TWRA come in and talk to the children about animals that are common in Meigs County. He also discussed what happens when we over hunt or bring in invasive species into our ecosystem. This was an excellent way to end our nature unit and begin our unit in Science about food chains, food webs, and energy pyramids. Thank you to the TWRA and Mr. Chris Combs for an awesome presentation!
