Spotlight on teachers. Introducing Ms. Carli Howard
Hi! my name is Carli Howard, and I am teaching 5th grade math at Meigs North! I am graduating from UTC in December with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. When I am not in school, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I attended Meigs North when I was in elementary school, so I am excited to be back as a teacher!

Meigs North November Students of the Month
Each student was hand selected by their teacher who believed they practiced the Creed daily with whoever they interacted with at school, whether that be classmates, teachers, and/or Mr. Gene. These students know how to live out the Meigs North Creed. They received a certificate, coupon for the concession cart, as well as a group photo for the Meigs North FB page. Good job friends and keep up the good work!

Meigs North held its annual Veterans Day celebration on November 7th. Each grade level contributed with a demonstration, song, poem, or pledge. We had a wonderful turnout and want to thank our veterans for attending.

Last Friday, students should have brought home some info about our Annual Meigs North Walk-a-thon. Students can collect pledges from now until November 12. The walk-a-thon will be on November 14. Hey friends! Mrs. Rachael and Mrs. Joy are taking up donations to go towards our 2024 Christmas Assistance Program. Every year they work hard to make our students' Christmases very special and this year we are asking for your assistance to help with this! If you would like to donate money towards our program, please turn that in to Mrs. Rachael or Mrs. Joy. We can also take new and unused toys, clothes, and shoes to go towards our children's Christmas as well! With Mrs. Rachael's baby due in December we are looking to start shopping for each child around Thanksgiving. Thanks in advance for your help with making our students' Christmas so special!
