Early Dismissal
Meigs North is dismissing early today due to inclement weather moving through our area. Car riders will begin at 1:30. Regular buses will load at 2:00. Please be advised that the Boys and Girls Club is closed.

Ms. Iza's second-grade class has been hard at work learning how to divide rectangles into equal rows and columns of squares. By counting the number of squares, they could determine the area of each rectangle. The students were then challenged to create a fact family to help them understand the relationship between multiplication and division. This builds on their prior knowledge of fact families in addition and subtraction. Through their determination and hard work, these students are well on their way to becoming math whizzes!
We will welcome our Meigs High School seniors back to our building on May 8 for our senior walk. We are excited to see the young men and women they have become and what plans they have for their future.
Meigs North will hold field day on May 9. Activities will begin at 9:00. Be on the look out for schedules to be sent home by your child's teacher.
3rd grade attended Lake Winnie for their reward trip today! Students worked hard to maintain good grades and have good attendance all year long in order to attend.
