Mrs. Penrod's classes and Coach Wood's class celebrated Polar Express Day by decorating cookies with Mr. Lucas Penrod. We want to thank Mr. Lucas for bringing us cookies, icing, sprinkles, and helping the kids decorate!

One of our third grade students, Lillian C won first place in the La-z-boy drawing contest. Her drawing was featured on the company Christmas cards this year.

Thank you to everyone who helped support our MNE Walk-a-thon this year. Our students walked a total of 495 miles and raised $9,000 for our PTO! We truly appreciate your continued support! JJ
Wrestling live at Meigs North Elementary on Friday, December 20. Doors open at 6:00 and the event begins at 7:00.
MNE will sell nachos to students in grades 3-5 tmrw (Tuesday) for $2. Nachos will be sold on Wednesday to students in Grades K-2 for $2. Monies raised will go into our Christmas fund to help students in need. Thanks. JJ

One of our new students has an interesting sport that she participates in. Blaklee S. and her horse Lily made it to Jackson, MO to compete at the Barrel Racing IMRA finals and left there winning 1 go round for a buckle and placing in 4 rounds for the average win and all championship buckle.
Congratulations! We can't wait to see more of your barrel racing career.
