Ms. Chastity & Ms. Amanda's Preschool class visited the Public Library today. The students loved listening to Mrs. Judy Luster read stories & sing songs.


Yesterday, grade cards were sent home with Meigs North students. We also sent home information about our upcoming PTO Walk-a-thon Fundraiser. Please look over the information and start getting sponsors. This is a big event for our school. All students can participate. There are LOTS of prizes! Thanks. JJ

Meigs North Fall Festival and Haunted House - Thursday, October 19, from 4:30-7:00. Come join us for fun and games, concessions, silent auction, haunted house, and much more!

Meigs North will be having its annual Fall Festival on Thursday, October 19th from 4:30-7:00. We want to invite all school age students at attend. Children can play games, get candy and prizes, enter the haunted house, and food will be available to purchase. Make your plans to attend.


Fall Break is October 9-13. MNE Red Ribbon Week is October 16-20. Students will have dress up days. Monday-Student/Teacher Swap Day, Tuesday-Old People Day, Wednesday-Twin/Triplet Day, Thursday-Disney Character Day, Friday-Super Hero Day. Thanks. JJ

Children of parents who talk to their teens regularly about drugs are 42% less likely to use drugs than those that don't; yet, only a quarter of students report having these conversations. Red Ribbon Week (October 16-20th), the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the nation, is your opportunity to get the ongoing conversation started. Visit www.redribbon.org to learn more about Red Ribbon Week and get tips for talking to your kids about drugs. The life you save may be that of your own child or dear friend.


Meigs County schools will be on Fall Break the week of October 9-13. We hope everyone has a wonderful week off and we will see you on October 16th.

5th grade Ads for the yearbook are on sale now. The ads are $20.00 and the money will be due when the ad is placed. Ads may contain one photo and a few lines of encouragement. Photos need to be at least 4X6 or larger. Ads will be the size of a business card. All Ads are due on October 6, 2023.


Meigs North, Meigs South, and Meigs Middle are hosting the third annual Kickin It With Kids event on Thursday, October 5, 2023. We will be set up at the fair grounds from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Come by for free giveaways, demonstrations, hands on STEM activities, and community information. Food trucks will be on hand if you would like to purchase dinner.


School picture day is tomorrow, Tuesday, September 26. Bring your best smile.


After-school tutoring at MNE begins tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 25. If you signed up your child for tutoring, please remind them that they will be staying after school tomorrow. Tutoring car riders can be picked up in the parking lot on the south end of campus at 4:30. Tutoring buses will depart campus around 4:40.
