Welcome back to school! We would like to invite our students in grades 1-5 to drop by on August 1, from 3:30-5:30 to meet their teacher. You can bring school supplies, learn how to get to your classroom, and become acquainted with the teacher or teachers you will have during the 2024-25 school year. Make plans to stop and see us.

Local high school students are making our building look awesome for the upcoming school year.

During the last two weeks of summer school, 3rd and 4th graders designed their own bar graphs to address questions about the five Olympic countries that have consistently participated each year. They practiced place value concepts while improving their soccer and basketball dribbling skills like Olympians. On their final day, they used arrays to review multiplication and repeated addition concepts.

Summer school ended with an Olympic themed field day and ice cream party. Kids got to compete in events like the basketball toss, torch relay, and javelin throw.

Students in Mrs. Jenifer's first grade learned about the Olymic Flame & then made "fire in a bottle." The students were excited to see how the colors swirled & mixed together to look like a flame. 🔥

During the second week of summer school, 3rd and 4th graders have been learning to measure length in inches. They are also practicing rounding to the nearest inch. After that, they used the information to create their own line plots.
