In preparation for Easter, Mrs. Susan's 4th and 5th graders did a graphing assignment using different flavors of Peeps. They rated the taste of the Peeps on a scale on 1-10, 1 being the worst and 10 the best. Cotton Candy and Dr. Pepper Peeps were the overall winners for best tasting. Hot Tamales Peeps was one of the least favorite. Some said the cinnamon taste was a little hot. Pictured are Tyler P., Alyssa L., Seth G., Preston H., and Brooklyn W.

Starting on Monday, April 3, Meigs North will make a change to its morning and afternoon car rider line procedures.
Morning Car Riders- ALL morning car riders will enter through the north gate and line up in a single line next to the sidewalk. Students will be dropped off at the second awning. Head Start and Pre-K parents will need to enter through the north gate and use the left lane (next to the trees) to drive to the lower parking lot and park in a marked space. Do not pull up by the curb or sidewalk. The south gate is exit only.
Afternoon Car Riders will begin at 3:00. Please do not arrive early. ALL afternoon car riders will enter through the north gate and line up in a single file next to the side walk. The outside lane will remain open until 3:00. At 3:00 both lanes will be used. All traffic will exit through the south gate. At 3:15 all students should be picked up. The car rider lane then becomes the afternoon bus lane. (If a car rider remains after 3:15, that student will need to be picked up in the office.)

Today our PreK classes painted rocks. These rocks will be hidden in the town of Decatur. The rocks were painted in order to promote PreK Pre-Registration and were designed by our current PreK classes. If you find one, please take a picture and tag Meigs North in the photo. PreK rocks!!
Pre-Registration for both PreK and Kindergarten will take place on Friday, April 28th, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Here at Meigs North our 3rd through 5th grade students are going through TCAP Bootcamp in Guidance to get ready for TCAP in a few short weeks. Here is a picture of a third grade class showing us how strong they are!! TCAPS here we come 😊🧡
