Parents and friends of MSE,
We will start collecting Piggly Wiggly receipts September 1st. All receipts must fall in the September 1, 2022- March 31, 2023 window. There is a collection box in Decatur, and I will be placing one in Charleston soon. The cashier's at Charleston will save them until the box gets there, or you can just send them with your child.
This is one of the most rewarding fund raisers that I am in charge of and I thank you for your support.

Parents,
This is a reminder of the third grade retention meeting that will be held at 1:30 Wednesday, August 24th, at 1:30 in the Meigs South library. If you haven't already, please make plans to attend.

Parents,
When transporting your child to and from school, please have them in a car seat/booster seat if they are required to be. We want your children to be as safe as possible, and following traffic laws plays a big part in that. Our SRO will begin conducting checks this afternoon. Thank you and have a great day!

Please visit the CoVID-19 Dashboard to report a positive CoVID case. Visit meigsgschool.net & click on the CoVID-19 Dashboard.

Parents,
Just a reminder, Meigs South will host a meeting at 5 pm today in the library concerning the 3rd grade retention law. It is very important that you are informed about this law if you have a 3rd grade student. We look forward to seeing you!

Parents,
If you pick your child up in the car rider line, please do not pass other cars. Also, in order to speed up the process, we have issued tags to hang on your rearview mirror to speed up the pickup process. If you need a tag, please let the ladies loading cars know. Otherwise, everyone should have a tag on their mirror. Thank you.

Meigs South will host the first of three scheduled parent meetings on the 3rd grade retention law on Tuesday, August 16th, in the school cafeteria. This applies to 3rd grade students. Parents of 3rd grade students, if you are able to attend, please do so as this is very important! Thank you.
